My pc has error report all the time and shuts down

My PC keeps shutting down, I keep getting error reports,
I have ran a disk clean up , and my results cam back
worce then i thought, First I want to say I have a dell
Dimension l800cxe microsoft for windows me... And someone
then had the pc and put windows xp pro on it. But back to
my discovery , i had pc doctor run a scan and the results
came back to all this, please help.

c:\ program files\newdotnet\newdoter6_30.dll
c:\ program files\ newdotnet\newdotnet6-30.dll
c:\ windows\system32\cmmgr32.exe
c:\ program files\common
files\microsoftshared\webfolder\pubplace.htt
these are just a few a the reading that i got back
showing that they are disturbing my pc and causing me
trouble , are these inportant files are what should i do .
I need to know if i know if i have to take this in for
repair or is windows ex pro addaptable for this pc Iam
new and learning, so if some one can help please
respond.and i may beable to explain more into detail , or
is there a number that can assist me through this , thank
you , and i hope i can get this working correctly.

You have spyware on your PC..... download and install AdAware from
www.lavasoftusa.com.

Since you do not appear to have antivirus software, I would also go to an
online antivirus site and do a scan to rid your PC of any viruses you may
have picked up...
