Anyone know what it means when a P3B-F sounds off with a high/low
alternating tone when a new CPU is installed and the computer is
restarted? This occurs before anything else seems to happen, and
before any signal is sent to the monitor.

Thanks in advance

I have heard that once when I was using a slocket which had the wrong
voltage (it was over-volting) set on the slocket. I should point out that
the best slocket I have used is the Asus model.
