Take a look at the history of wars in the world.

Almost all of them have been started because "God told me..." or "I am God and I say.."

but i must agree, i think nearly all wars on that level are to do with religion on at least one persons side. (with a few exceptions of course)

Remove religion from the world.. how many real wars would we have?

Leaders wanted conquest because it was God's calling for them to be great.

I think today wars are less likely to start from Religion - At least when it's the US doing the attacking. :wink:
