Wireless Xbox360 Controller On pc HELP

hello everyone

i copied my xbox wireless cd to a flash drive and tried to dowload it to my note book
my notbook has windows 7
it pops up with a meesage saying it is not compatable with windows 7
i tried microsoft web sight with no help
is there a download for the wireless xbox 360 on the web?
