P4B533-E and clean install of XP SP2 ???

Hi

I would like to do a clean install on my P4B533-E MB with XP SP2. Do I need
to use the ASUS cd that came with the MB after the OS install for any of the
MB drivers or will XP install all the necessary files/drivers.

Windows may dectect some of the settings but I woudlnt depend on it. Easiest
thing to do would be to download the lastest drivers for your devices (Mobo
drivers, video card, etc) from the manufactures website and burn them on to a
cd or some sorta removable media, or if you have it a second harddrive. Chances
are if Windows has the drivers for it, they'll be older drivers. Which by
itself isnt a bad thing but some things like video cards, chipsets, etc will
have optimized drivers released on a regular basis. Your Asus CD will have the
drivers for your board but again, older drivers.
