Tom's Hardware, please tell the vendors that we are eagerly waiting for monitors that are competitive with the resolution on the new Ipad. We've been fedup with 1080p for a long time now and we are glad that Apple has come along and set a new standard once again.

PS. Charging $700 for it won't fly.

They make 2560 x 1600 but you need VASTLY better hardware then simply 1920 x 1080 (2mill pixels vs 4million pixels) take a look at benchmarks and tell me its not painful being gpu bottlenecked with a 6990 D:
