Good day;
Will a p4p800 w/p4 3.00Ghz (800mhz fsb) work with only 1 stick of 256mb DDR
333 ? (i know i'll be running in single channel mode though)
I'm waiting for some new DDR 433 modules i ordered but i would like to test
the system...

It should work..I know mine did. i put a stick of 512 ddr333 in when i was
waiting for my ddr400 to come in. I installed the OS, drivers, every thing
with no problems. Then just swapped out the ram.

Yes.

If the memory can't stand 400 MHz, you can probably run it by setting the
memory ratio in the BIOS to run at 320 MHz (4:5).

I hope that your PC3500 RAM arrives soon, though.

Should work fine, albeit not at the top end of the performance scale.

In any case, it won't hurt anything to try... At worst it won't boot and
you'll have to wait for your new memory.
