I'm runnin a BEFSR81 - for about 2 yrs now! Good unit!

I ran the original firmware it came with for about a year.
Then work changed their 'Virtual" connection and I couldn't get in anymore!

I flashed up to...
Firmware Version: 2.42.7.1, Jun 25 2002
and all OK!!!
The only problem i've ever had was with that prioritary 'Virutal Tunnel",
and the above flash fixed that!

I had a problem where my router(befsr41) was reseting periodically, but otherwise working fine. I tried everything with no success, even tech support couldn't figure it out. I ended up purchasing a new befsr41 only to have the same thing happening. So I reconnected the old one, went into the admin functions, went to the 'filter' screen and disabled all the options at the bottom of the screen and Upnp. The problem disappeared. I'm not saying you should disable all these things, just play around with some different things and see if any stop your resetting problem. Good luck.
