Sometime when I start my computer, in red it tells me
to: "change stand alone drive to master". Also when I am
on the internet - broadband -there is an error message and
explorer closes. This happens frequently. Can anyone tell
me how to change drive and to stop internet problem.
Thanks in advance. Sumac

Apparently your hard drive has different jumper settings for using it alone
on the cable, and as a master drive with a slave attached, and your is set
wrong. You're going to need to open up the computer and physically change
the jumper (a small plastic piece) on the hard drive. You may need to remove
the hard drive to do so. Depends on where the drive is, and if it's possible
to get your hands in there without first removing the drive. As well as your
ability to see the jumper and settings. If you aren't comfortable taking the
computer apart and getting it put back together correctly, have someone else
do it for you.

As far as stopping the internet problem, that's going to be impossible to
guess without at least knowing what the error message is.
