Here is my quandry (as you may have already read.) I have recently installed
HL2 (Yeah... I bought it... )
and am getting back into TFC again. I am, however, missing my old setups. I
cannot see the config file in C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\tfc or C:\Program
Files\Valve\Steam to replace with my custom. Any help?

S'good to see you guys still round.

The old sierra directory was depreciated for a very long time. Don't
bother looking there unless you still play the WON version.

Thus, open up your Steam directory. Open SteamApps, the folder containing
your e-mail address, then "team fortress classic", then "tfc". If it's not
there, then you have to launch TFC at least once so that the initial config
can be created.

By the way, that file is execed from config.cfg. Anything in
userconfig.cfg will be applied each time you attempt to connect to another
server or otherwise make a change in the GUI configuration.
