Hi!

In our company we have a few SATO Label printers CL 408e and 608.

I have to print labels for our distribution in cyrillic chars.
The problem is that I only may use plain ASCII prints, e.g. I have to
controll the printer with the ESC commands. The graphical print is not
possible due to the software and the network usage. I tried to install the
printer as Generic / Text only and change the codepage there. No effect on
the result.

So here is my question:

Does anybody have experiences with printing ASCII and cyrillic on SATO
printers?
I am not able to change the Codepage on this printers though the FAQ on
sato's webpage states the availability of different codepages.

How can I change the codepage and print the cyrillic chars?

Thanks in advance,

best regards

Marcus Noetzel

You have to see, does your printer support downloadable fonts. If the
answer is yes, then you have to look for sutable ones. and use few more
comands to select them. A lot of work if you do not have everything at hand.

Good luck.
