I'm trying to install the new catalyst driver from ATI. In the middle of installation, it will say that INF file is not found, and asked me to use standard video driver.

The notebook seems to be using the driver that is installed automatically by windows. I tried to uninstall the driver, but it automatically reinstalls when I restart.

Is there any other 'standard video driver' I can use other than the one from XP?

Thx.

Go to the ATI website and get Cat-Uninstaller.exe and use it to remove any
and all ATI Catalyst drivers. Then try to install the latest.

ATI Catalyst Uninstaller:
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/cat-uninstaller.exe

Try redownloading the drivers here:
http://www.ati.com/home/online/CatalystXPdriver.html

Or even try the Omega Drivers (tweaked for gaming) when they are
released at http://www.omegadrivers.net ;)
