Does Barts PEBuilder support USB upon boot from CD?

I have a person I need to help who says her Dell does not boot
anymore into Windows XP. It freezes. I will investigate this and try
Recovery Console and such first. May have to pull off some of her data
and try to store it on MY external USB drive or key.

I do have a PEBuilder CD to help accomplish this but am not
sure it has standard USB support built in. Does it?

I have GHOST but not as part of PEBuilder but do have it on diskette.

Thanks
Joe

I don't think it does but you can probably find out for sure by
checking the Bart home page: http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder.

If anyone wants to make a PEBuilder CD for me with all the bells and
whistles and post it Sunday via FTP for download-I will pay them via
PayPal.

I have a PEBuilder CD but alas I run Win2k-cannot build a CD with
Win2k.

I need Ghost 8 on it, anti-virus program, CD writing program, USB
support, CD Rom support, read/write NTFS, and the entire kitchen sink
perhaps. Give me a list and I will tell you.

Need today Sunday 7/11 as I have 2 people who I can help out for a few
bucks tomorrow and this would make it easier for me. I have a PE
Builder CD but it does not have USB or Ghost support.

If some posts the ISO image I can have a friend burn it on his Win XP
pro machine. Else I will get by another way when I help these 2 people
tomorrow. I thought I had USB support on current CD but I do not.

Thanks,
Joe

I do have the Barts PEBUILDER CDS but have not tested to see if it
automatically comes with USB support. Perhaps someone knows.

I know there is a website someone showed me about a plugin for WINPE.
Not sure if they are close enough in architecture.

Thanks
Joe

As for Bart's I am not sure, but WinPE does not support USB for Windows
XP SP1; however, I have read that it may be updated to allow for USB
support for SP2.
