A7V600 SATA not RAID

could I use 2 SATA drives as independent, not Raid drives connected to my
mobo? What bios settings must I use? I want to use the ATA as 4 optical
drives and the SATA to run 2 200gb HD independently so as to use one for
primary and one for storage.

I am running 2 SATA's in non RAID on my A7N8X-Deluxe..I just set it to boot
to SATA or SCSI and have one as boot and 1 as a storage.
