I have an ipaq 3850. i cannot copy windows media files from desktop to
pocket pc - format error. Any help out there?

you must make sure that the files are using a codec that the PPC version of
media player can "understand". You can use MovieMaker 2 (it's part of
WindowsXP) to convert files into PPC compatible .wmv and .wma files.
