I decided to install Ubuntu on a partition of an external drive. It didn't work (OS is missing error message). Perhaps, I should have installed it on a disk without any partitions.
Now whenever I boot up my computer I get a screen asking me to select Windows 8 and Ubuntu. How can I get rid of the Ubuntu option in the boot-up screen so that the computer would automatically load up Windows 8?
The boot tab of the System config only shows Windows 8. Yet the boot-up screen shows Ubuntu also.
I'd appreciate any help.
