RAID 0 space issue

I have 2 SATA HD's installed in a Raid 0 configuration.
Windows explorer does not recognize the total size of both
drives (120 GB) and reports only 60 GB. The problem is that
applications seem to think the computer is running out of
space when writing to the disk.

I have an Intel Application Accelerator that is used to
configure the Raid volume and it reports the correct size
for the HD.

Any suggestions on getting explorer to recognize the
correct size?

Hello

Well you have a few issue seems like either the drive are not
configured correctly or your jumpers are set wrong. Also go
back inot the raid setup and make sure that both drives show
up and the total should be 120gig

Thanks for the reply Alvin.
There aren't any jumpers on SATA drives and the bios shows
the Raid configuration. Intel Application Accelerator shows
the 2 drives with the 120 GB capacity.

Is there anything else to check?

Hello

I have a raid setup at home and I have (2) 120wd drives
and in the configuration setup you can do raid 0 raid 1 etc.
Once you ahve don't that, save and exit, then reboot and
load your OS during your OS setup you will be prompted
to Press F6, which you will need to provide drivers for the
raid, have you gotten to this point yet, am guessing that you
have.

Yes, the system seems to work great except for the
reporting of the size in explorer. The Intel program works
out of windows and shows the correct size and zi can press
CNTRL-I during boot to access the configuration utility and
it reports correctly as well. These are raptor ATA drives
(10K) if it makes a difference.
