CD Rom/DVD Drive

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware (More info?)

For some reason my laptop doesn't recognise that it has a
DVD drive.
When I go into devise manager and look at drives, it only
has the c drive there. Where has my CD Drive gone? Can
anyone help?
