I got a new laptop with Win 7 64 bit. Much to my dismay, my Palm T3 will not hotsync with it because there are no 64 bit drivers for this PDA. (And, from what I understand, there will never be. Also there many PDA users with this issue). My wife has a Sony Clie with the same issue.
Can I run a VM with XP Pro on it as a work around to this issue?
Could you provide general steps or a link?
Thank you for your help'

Hello mrblahbox;

According to what other Palm T3 users are saying you can do the Sync with the XP VM.
Win7 64x XP Mode USB for Palm device.
In this case the user installed Palm Desktop 4.1.4e inside the XP VM. A later version of Palm Desktop should work as well.
Have you check the Palm forums to see what other T3 users are doing?

-> Another option that could be attractive to you is using Win7 32bit.

If you have Win 7 Professional you can just download XP mode which is a preconfigured VM of XP pro. Otherwise download something like Virtual Box and install XP in that VM. Once your VM is installed plug your Palm into the laptop via USB and then attach that device to the virtual machine.
