If i upgrade to windows 7 what is the default email

Hello, I am thinking of upgrading from Vista Home premium to Windows 7. I use Windows mail but I understand that this is not available in Windows 7 What should I do please

  1. The basic Win7 Email client is Windows Live Mail 2011 and is actually quite good. Email, Calendar, Contact List (address book), Newsgroups and News Feeds.
    It's not too different from Vista's email client.

  2. Besides Live Mail there are other handy programs in Windows Live Essentials
    You could install just the ones you're interested in.

  3. If you don't have a favorite security suite there is also the free edition of Microsoft Security Essentials

    Thank you for your reply. If I go with the Windows Live Mail, how do I transfer all the emails that are currently in Windows Mail?

    Thank you for your response. If I use Live Messenger when I upgrade, it is easy to transfer my emails?
