I'm looking for a GPRS card - compact flash (CF) or SDIO format which works
internationally. I've treid the convergent tech ones and although they
claim to be tri-band take a very long time to get a signal (10+ minutes).
On top of that the configuration overseas is too complicated for a typical
end-user (I'm trying to find a device to deploy to appx a dozen
non-technical travelers).
We've used the Sierra Wireless Aircard 750 with good success rates but the
newer HP Ipaqs do not have PC card options.
