Hi folks
sorry to bother you. I think the scanner and copy wizard is fantastic.
It does some mad scanning. I;ve just bought a Canon
CanoScan LIDE 20 and I cant seem to get it working at all with scanner
and copy wizard. I've tried wiaacmgr.exe and it says I dont have a
scanner installed yet the scanner works fine it the rather miserable
program finereader et al .
I've tried REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL and that doesnt seem to help.

Did you actually try to add this scanner? Click Start-Control
Panel-Scanners and Cameras-New Device. Also, have you tried the
software that was included with you scanner? Does the computer even see
the scanner?

You MUST install the supplied software BEFORE connecting the scanner.. DO
NOT USE the scanner/camera wizard..
