Computer has Home xp on it. Try to install scanner and, without warning
computer crashes and stops rebooting after first WinXp screen (the one with
the moving 'bar').

Can get into safe mode, but have to restore system beyond the adding of the
scanner. Up to date drivers used, but the problem persists. Anyone any
experience/advice, please?
