how can I get larger font on all web pages permanently with Firefox 3.6.13 and Windows 7 home premium?

Hello charleson;

You can change the default font size in Windows 7 by right mouse click on the Desktop and choosing Personalize and then Display.

On Firefox you can change the size of the font on a webpage by using Control key and the Plus key together (CNTL+)
Control and Minus will reduce the font size. Firefox will remember the setting for your next visit.
