I upgraded my OS to XP pro, and tried to install the
wireless Multimedia keyboard 1.0A, Product ID
59119-OEM-7033701-00314 and wireless optical mouse. The
mouse works fine. The keyboard puts nothing but strange
control sequences into the OS or garbage for keys. I know
the batteries are good, and the keyboard is only about 2ft
from the control pod that plugs into the PS2 port.
wireless mouse is fine, keyboard doesn't work at all. I
downloaded the driver install program from microsoft.com
also to see if there was update, no luck. thanks

What company makes this keyboard? Try installing the drivers from the
manufacturer's website instead of the ones that came with it ;)
