Id like to propose the idea that Tom's Hardware run a test on battery life of the two different OS's and see which system gets the longest battery life. For alot of laptop users I wouldn't think using windows would always be a nessary thing and you always have the option of dual boot options to switch between OS's for different occasions. So which OS gets longers battery life for just standard web browsing is the question. They could test serveral different enviroments if they'd like and see which ran longer. It's just a thought I guess and I'm guessing Linux would have longer battery life than Windows but knows. I just think it would be nice to see some OS benchmarks for a change everything else is put to the test.
