Wanted: Techn. Detailed Manual HP Laserjet III D

Can anybody help me with a technical detailed service manual for Laserjet
Printer III D, manufactured by Hewlett Packerd.
If possible in PDF format.

My work-horse is in fact complete and in good shape. However several times,
paper was taken rough-out somewhere in the paper pick-up area.
Due to that incorrect handling a paperjam occurs after the first paperfeed.
The paper leaves the tray about 6" and stops.
I know its a matter of synchronizing but that special knowledge is lacking
me.
I hope somebody can help me.
