I have an XP machine that is locking up with this error in Event Viewer.

Take a look at these two sites.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q283649
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system/pnppwr/powermgmt/BIOSAML.mspx

Then goto your motherboard manufacturer's website and get the latest bios
and see if it resolves this problem. If it doesn't, contact your
motherboard manufacturer and ask them to resolve this issue, citing the two
links above.

Most current motherboards, if they haven't had the issue resolved already,
have fixes forthcoming in a future bios upgrade.

I got the same issue. I dont know if this is the trouble to my
nightmares, but my CPU restarts automatically after I started it. I
tried to go to event viewer and it seems that the only errors I am
getting are the ones mentionned above, COuld these errors be the ones
who are affecting my system?
