Enabling headphones

Cant hear music from headphones when they are connected to
the headphone jack on the cd player. music is fine from
speakers only. want to hear it from headphones only
sometimes.

These 'mini banan plugs' are notoriously flakey.

Try plugging the headphones into your speaker jack.

If that works, you know it's a fault with the CD socket: if not your
headphones are NBG.
