I just purchased 1 asus motherboard that supports both 4 p-ata and 4 s-ata
my question is: Can I run 8 drives on this board as long as 4 are s-ata
drives and the other 4 are p-ata. Thanks in advance! Tlo-Ent

Yes, depending on the motherboard model and your OS.

Not forgetting the need for a high wattage top class PSU and very
