Hello,

I put a Sempron 2400 on an ASUS A7V600-X with 256 of PC2700. It initially
booted at 1333/33 so I set it manually to 1667/33. I see also that it wants
to auto set the vcore as 1.6 although I thought this was to be at 1.65.

Should I manually set the vcore to 1.65 or leave it alone?

Thankyaverymuch...

The "SDA2400DUT3D" (2400+) uses 1.60V.

Seems that link isn't working the last few hours and the 'knowledge server'
is down too... but I'll take your word on it. When I bought it (newegg) it
said 1.65 as did any of the sites I compared it with <shrug>. SEMPRON
2400BOX

Thanks!

A great place to look up basic CPU electrical and thermal specs:

That certainly is a good page, thanks,

I wonder why so many of the places I compared them at had them listed
incorrectly as 1.65? Belarc Advisor sees it as an XP2400+ and that shows on
your list as both 1.6 or as a 1.65 as well... but only the one for Sempron
stickered one. <shrug>

Anyhow... thanks again.
