CRC error when copying to SD card

I try to copy files to an SD card, but it gives CRC errors.
When I try it later, sometimes it works, but it give CRC on another
file.

I reformatted the thing, did a surface test, everything seems to be
ok. So, I try once more and copying still gives me CRC errors!

I use a Sigma card reader, but it happened on my iPAQ 2215 too.

The card is a blue one, 512MB with numbers:
SD-M512B1
0341 TA8712H
Made in Japan

Can someone give me advice?

Yes, I did, but it goes wrongly when using a 'normal' SD card reader
on my PC.

btw: I had to reformat due to some errors in the file system. So,
somehow the iPAQ kills my SD card.

I did not have these problems on the old ROM, however, I do have many
more programs installed than back then.
