I installed an ASUS P4G088-E with XP pro and was not able on to run USB
2, only USB1
I upgraded XP with service Pack1 which should allow USB 2 . I am still
in USB 1 ?
the bios on the motherboard is well configured .
no driver is given on the CD Rom with the motherboard.
has anyone an idea why ?
P.S.

At the bottom of this page, it says:
http://www.usbman.com/Guides/checking_for_usb_2.htm

"If your Device Manager shows an ENHANCED USB Host Controller, the
system has High Speed USB (USB 2.0) capability."

This page describes how to remove the USB entries from the
Device Manager while booted in Safe Mode. When the computer
is rebooted, WinXP SP1 should redetect that your ports are
USB 2.0 capable, and you should have an Enhanced entry in the
Device Manager.
