I am beginning to build my second system. I need advice.

The MoBos I am considering are
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe @ about $190
Asus P4P800-E Deluxe @ about $120

Other questions:
Can I use my Creative SB Live Value card and my SCSI board on the above
boards?

What do you recommend I read to prepare for this project?

Thanks,
Jim

You could download the manuals - quite a bit of info in there.
The P4P800-E Deluxe (the one I have here) has 8-channel sound
built-in, so you might not need your SBLive.

The ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe, while a fine board, has serious issues with
loading linux systems if you intend to do that...............otherwise I
liked mine a lot.

One other thing, the board I have killed 2 new and 1 old video AGP
cards............I finally switched back to my old P4PE board which is
still working well with a new Abit 9600XT Radeon card.
