Im about to buy an LCD, but i have no idea which i should go for. I was looking at the Samsung line, they seem really good and relatively cheap. Im not a serious gamer, but a seroius video editor, i will be using the Gainward Cardexpert Geforce 3 card, which LCD will compliment this great card? Your opnions and help will really help.
Thanks

If you are into video editing, you will need a monitor that has the fastest pixel response time to avoid ghosting and streaking problems. LCD monitors do not have the color gamut (saturation) of a CRT monitor. If you do Graphics or video you may want to stay with a CRT monitor for its better color saturation.

A top of teh line LCD can fit those needs. I think it'll be decent- considering a 20ms response time means that you can run at 50fps w/o problem. Go for a TFT5030 from Compaq, or if you want 17", a TFT7020.

If it's working...overclock it!

I agree the specs on the TFT5030 are impressive, however I would be very concerned over the poor viewing angles of the TFT7020, especially if you are doing graphics work.

You should also consider the Planar CT1744NU, PV174, and Princeton Graphics Senergy 750.
