I have a Creative 5X DVD that performed great in Win 98, but I can't get it to do squat in Win 2K except play audio cds.
Under system information/problem devices, it lists my "Multimedia Video Controller". When I try to launch the Creative DVD software, I get this message: "This program encounters an error while initializing the decoder device of your Creative PC -DVD hardware. Please check that the Creative PC-DVD card is installed and properly plugged in."
Can anyone give me any ideas on what to do next? Yes, the latest drivers have been installed.
Thanks, Troy
