Canon i470D not printing a reverse image for t-shirt prints.

I have a Canon i470D and am using PrintMaster Platinum 12. I love the
Canon for the colors, and save it for special projects like photos and
now I attempted a t-shirt print.

In PrintMaster, there is a place to select "reverse printing for
t-shirt". That was selected, however, both times the project printed
out normally. I didn't catch this until I ironed it on to my 7yob's
shirt. I was just so thrilled with the colors. Then, I realized it
wasn't right. I then went to print out another print - this time
turning on the print preview, so that I could see if it was going to
print out correctly. "Print reverse" was selected in PM, and the
print preview showed that it was to print backwards, however, it still
printed out normal.

I also have an Epson 785EPX that I use all the time, so the ink runs
low and the colors don't seem as bright as the Canon. I did print out
the t-shirt project on the Epson, and it printed out like it should.

Anyone, have any problems like this? I know the first thing you guys
will tell me is to check that "reverse printing" is selected - and it
was. So, any other ideas?

I submitted an inquiry to Canon - so am waiting on their response. I
do have XP as well.
