wmp is saying sound card is not installed.My pc crashed
last week and just got it recovered I have been into
device manager and there is a big yellow question mark at
the side of multimedia audio controller, everything was
running & working until my crash.Can anyone please help

Right click on that Audio Controller, click uninstall, and reboot. If
Windows does not automatically install the drivers for you, you are
going to need to download the latest drivers for your sound card. To do
this, you may want to download and install Everest Home from
www.lavalys.com and use that to find out what sound card you have. It
will also provide a link to the latest drivers for you
