Windows XP SP2 installed. Scanner did not install. got
new drivers from visioneer website. still will not
install drivers. Software installed OK, but windows did
not update drivers. I need help.

There used to be a known problem link on the Windows update site regarding
SP2 but I can't find in now. Visioneer rings a bell.

If scanner is USB install software, reboot then connect scanner.
