I am trying to install on my Dell Latitute X300 (running
XP SP2) a USB ADSL modem.
Unfortunately the driver installation procedure hangs,
without reporting any particular problems.
I retried many times (also with XP SP1 and XP without SP)
but with the same results.
I copied below the produced setupapi.log.
It looks like it complains because of a missing file.
But which one ?
I also tried to download again the driver installation
kit, but this didn't help.
Any hints ?
Thanks, Massimo

I have the same problem with re installing my Dynamode USB DSL modem after
installing SP2.
Installation from install CD goes ok then when I reboot, connect the modem
to the PC as asked, the installation continues and says" processing"and just
hangs and does not get anywhere.
Before SP2 there were no problems.
