My CD drivers seem to loose connection with the rest of
the computer and are not beinf seen. I tryed to install
new hardware, and they cannot be found!!! I turned the
computer off and on, disconnected the drivers and plugged
them back. The computer saw thembriefly then... gone! Any
suggestions?

check that they have drive letters asigned to them. right click my computer >
manage >disk management
