Anyone know if the Rev 1.02 with a BIOS change will run the x2 range?
Nothing on the Asus site yet that I can find.

not sure but it might do. on asus site the A8V deluxe does support the 64
X2. Only the boards with Via 890 chipset dont.

Seen that thanks, but feel will only apply to Rev 2 +. Following Gilbert's
point, its in the A8V Deluxe product spec now.

Yes thanks, I missed that, its listed under A8V Deluxe in the product
specification, but not under the list of CPUs/BIOS's for the MB, where I'd
looked. So there may be a chance but I suspect Rev 2 only.

Thanks Gilles. There's more information appearing all the time. I'm
using BIOS 1013.007 beta at present. But what about Revision 1.02? Can't
find that yet.

Well, today its now on:

http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx

...that the A8v Deluxe will support x2 with all PCBs and BIOS 1013.
