A8V-e Deluxe / Marvell LAN problem with Panda firewall

After replacing the the ASUS driver with one from Marvell I was finally
able to connect to my Linksys WRT54G router. I have not been able to do
so with Panda firewall enabled however. Everything works OK with the
WinXP PRO firewall on or off. While trying to get the onboard Marvell
chip to work I installed a cheapy d-Link NIC and had no problem with
Panda firewall enabled. Anyone have a guess as to what I am missing?

I confess to being a network novice and any help would be greatly
appreciated.
