Raiding 2 hard drives while windows is installing

Hello, i recently uninstalled windows on my computer witch
had 2 hard drives raided together. I want to reinstall
windows but my computer does not detect any hard disks and
it will not install because it says there is nothing for it
to install on. I am in desperate need of help. Sometimes my
computer asks if i have a riad floppy disk to set up the
raid. if you know how i can make one or any other solutions
please reply to this because i really need my computer
working for school... thank you

The raid driver setup disk was provided either with the computer (if the
raid controller is on the motherboard) or by the raid card manufacture (if
it is a plug in controller). Either way, if you don't have a driver floppy
disk, you will have to go to the manufacturer's web site to download the
drivers for your particular controller. When you have the drivers on the
floppy disk, boot your computer with the Windows XP CD and look at the
bottom of the screen. It will ask you to press F6 if you need to install a
SCSI controller, etc. Press F6 when it tells you to and put the floppy in
the floppy drive to copy the drivers. Once that is done the installation
should proceed normally.

Installing to a RAID array will require an initial driver
so that Windows can find its way around. You didn't
indicate who supplied your RAID controller, but that
would be the source of your driver(s), too...
Intel had a SATA RAID solution as part of their 875 and
some 865 chipsets. If that's what you're using, go to
their website (
http://support.intel.com/design/motherbd/bz/bz_drive.htm )
and download both the [F6] driver (creates a floppy that
you can use when loading windows).. and the much larger
driver that Windows will use on an ongoing basis
including RAID management and rebuilding in the event
that you replace part of the array.
