Upgrade glitch: PS/2 mouse and PCI network card

Hi Folks,

Before upgrading from Win98SE to WinXP Pro, I ran the Windows Update
Advisor, which told me that "some files might be needed" for the PS/2 mouse
and PCI network card. Apparently, both of these things are missing from my
computer. Can I go ahead and upgrade anyway, or will I be doomed to fail?
If I need another mouse and network card, can my old computer be set up to
run with them?

Thanks,
Jerry

XP has very good hardware support so unless you have some very unusual ps/2
mouse...
it;s not too likely to be a problem...XP contains a very large selection of
net card drives...
but certainly not all

best to chek with the mfg on those two questional devices to be sure they
have XP support
or if specific drivers are needed
