Rant about Flamethrower and Fuel Rod

I am getting really pissed off at people who use these. Flamethrower is
the worst...it's not that I have anything about one shot kills, I love
sniping and rocketing and shotgun, but with those you need skill. And
those are limited, with rockets you have four, flamethrower you could
kill 10 or 15 people before having to get another canister. Same with
fuel rod, with each shot taking about 3 out of 100, and if you have any
skill you can kill with one shot, if you don't with two, that gives you
about 33 kills. I guess i'm trying to say that the clip size is too big
for these weapons. If the rocket launcher came with 35 rockets in one
clip, it would be ridiculous. Anyway, its pretty annoying.

Are we talking about the original Halo here? I'll assume so...

I play Halo on-line a lot and killing someone with one shot of an frg is
impossible if the player is at full health+shield. If it could kill you with
one shot then frg jumps would be impossible and they are certainly not!

Similarly, there's no way you can take out 15 people with the flamethrower
on the same canister. Unless you asked them all to stand in a small room and
not move.....

One shot kills are only possible with the sniper rifle. It's these people
that annoy me, mainly because the word 'sniper' usually goes hand in hand
with the word 'camper'....

The rocket launcher is a one shot kill and requires little to no skill to use, the sniper rifle at least in halo one is a little difficult to use but the only problem is a camper can kill someone, its not about how many shots you kill them in... its killing them that matters. The fuel rod cannon shoots as fast as a pistol and kills in 2 - 3 shots depending on where you shoot. The only weapon you need in halo 1 is the pistol, hands down. Its a 3 shot kill gun has a 12 round clip and doesnt take long to reload. It might as well be a sniper rifle and EVERYONE spawns with one in most gametypes. Now a little camper/noob/dearest comrade/whateveryouwanttocallthem can kill you with not so skillful weapons but as long as you win it doesnt matter.
