I am running Windows XP Pro on a Sony Vaio notebook, I
want to configure the screens so that I can use the
notebook screen and other people can view the TFT screen,
I have tried going into display properties but it won't
let me change the size of the attached tft screen. The
display is bigger than the tft screen and it scrolls
around (the whole screen) when I use the mouse. It works
if I turn off the notebook screen but not if it is on.
Sometimes if I move the mouse to the far right of the
notebook screen it then appears on the tft screen. HELP!!!

Hello,

You have to check in Display Properties-Settings and if you have multiple
monitors connected you have to click on 1 set it up then on 2 and set it up
and after this you have to uncheck the "Extend my Windows desktop onto this
monitor" on monitor 2. Depending on your controller it can be possible using
the "Advanced" option if you have one option that looks like "Clone" to
select it but it all depends on the monitor adapter...
