Can you type in more than 3 incorrect passwords in Asus BIOS

I found a site with backdoor passwords to access BIOS. Just built a
system with Asus A7V600-X. But I installed some drivers, updates that
enabled supervisor password. Well, I’m stuck at 1350 MHz although I
know I can do 1800 MHz with my CPU. The site with the backdoor
passwords says on some BIOS, you wil be locked out if you try more
than 3 incorrect passwords.

I know you can remove the CMOS battery, but do you have to plug in
your computer after you do that? Also, I know I have a CLRTC set of
pins but what do you do to that to do clear the password protection?
