I have a P4P800 SE and I need a Pentium IV 2.8 Ghz or above. What would be
the exact CPU refrences I could use please ?

Go to the Asus site and go to the reference page for this MB. They have a
listing of which processors will work with this board and any BIOS versions
that might be required.

you need a socket 478 either Northwood or Prescott and you need the latest
bios.
you can run 533 or 800 fsb. You will also need pc3200 memory to get the full
benefit from an 800 fsb chip. You cannot use the LGA 775 chip.

bump...but I would lean toward a northwood core, if you can still find
one. Basically, any socket 478/p4 will work.
