X800 and NWN

Anyone with a really fast system still having fps issues with NWN? I am just curious, for I still love the game and continue to play through fan made modules with friends, but even with an NF7-S, a mobile barton at 2.4+ GHz speeds with a bus speed above 200MHz, a full GB of quality ram, and a 9800 Pro, my fps average is around 30... that is with all the settings at max... thing is, my fps does not go up too much when I lower all the settings...

I have played through this fps issure for a few years now, and the game does play great... but it sure would be nice to post a consistant 80 fps or something...

ATi cards have terrible performance in NWN, I've heard about this issue before. Apparently the developer only optimized it for nVidia, "The Way It's Meant To Be Played".

also and this is just a guess is that some games automatically limit the fps
